Fans at James Dean Gallery and DeanFest, 6-2005, page 4.
If I have duplicated any of the photos here from another page, please excuse me. I have been too tired to work efficiently since the DeanFest. I have to get these pages on-line and my brain is on strike.
In the top with stars, Sue Hummel of Iron Mountain, Michigan is wearing a neat piece of jewelry from her local VA hospital’s gift shop. It holds your glasses or sunglasses so you don’t lose them. This would be a good money-maker for gift shops, as it is completely new! Iron Mountain is in the Upper Peninsula, 20 miles from Nicolet National Forest. The fishing is noteworthy. A good website to learn about the area is http://www.exploringthenorth.com/imtn/imtn.html
Another Dean fan, Francie Staggs of Springfield, Illinois, has lots to tell us about the newly opened Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Illinois. The web link for it is www.alplm.org
Francie is involved with this new landmark and highly recommends it! The Director is Richard Norton Smith.
In sunglasses is, I think, Stephanie Purvis from Kokomo. I could be wrong.
Stephen Payne and staff
at Steven’s newly opened custard and coffee cafe close to the James Dean Gallery. Be sure to stop and eat! Two views of the patio are below the Payne poster.
A new suitcase and a new beach towel from David Loehr’s Gift Shop at the Gallery.P.S. You must see Professor Barbara Beale’s book, just out.
Also I saw a that George Perry had a copy of (Kentucky) Professor James Hopgood’s James Dean book. Here is the picture:
