Delightful British author George Perry, interviewed in the Dean Zine, signs copies of his new book, James Dean at the Gallery. His book has new material provided by Marcus Winslow and David Loehr. The book is approved by the family. George is the next best thing to Harry Potter.
Craig Kester and Erika Pearson show off the latest DeanZine, the issue with the George Perry interview.
The DeanZine is the outstanding magazine of the James Dean Remembered Fan Club.
For fan Colette Seifert, Professor Wes Gehring of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, signs his new James Dean biography, endorsed by the Winslow family. This book focuses on the Indiana and Fairmount influence on James Dean’s character. Other Hollywood notables from the Hoosier State appear in this book.
Wes Gehring signs again, this time for Deaner fan Jen Ariano. Yes, she is as delightful as her Mardi Gras beads would indicate.
A fan shows George Perry’s new book.
Fairly new to Fairmount, this generous fan drove all the way back from Iowa (800 miles) one week later for the Memorial Service. Thanks for joining us, August Knoll. I’ll publish his impressions of his Fairmount experiences soon. He gave me permission.
