Yes, crowd favorite Rob Qualls of Hammond Indiana won the 1998 lookalike contest again. There were lots of qualified candidates and we thank every one of them for competing.
Here is the Kenneth Kendall gift to us for the 1998 Festival goers. Kenneth autographed this postcard each day at the James Dean Gallery.

Rock Lasso contestJames Dean Festival in Fairmount, IN started Thursday, September 24, 1998 with an open house at the James Dean Gallery. Naomi Yamada just finished sewing the thousandth crane for the Thousand Cranes tribute at Jimmy’s headstone. Memorial service on Wednesday, September 30th at Back Creek Friends Church.
