Rockabilly Rebel WeekendDrummers, The Unsung Heroes of Music
Not only do we not get to see much of a drummer on stage, you can’t even get a good photograph. I guess we just got lucky with these few photos. Otto wants these drummers to know how much we appreciate them. Of course I am terrible about names, so please send me the names [email protected]
Don’t be thinking someone else will tell me, ’cause that’s what everyone else thinks. I am still correcting last year’s pages.
This is Bobaloo, the Du Valls drummer. His real name is either Rick Murawski or Tricky Ricky or PJ Boy, depending on whom you ask.
Mark Hole from Tennessee is Sonny Burgess’s drummer. He could really sing! This is not easy, to sing and drum. He was in great good spirits, as you can see here. He added a lot of fun to the set. When I saw The Chronics drummer, I thought he was Mark.
Not the Atomics drummer, but he’s using his drum set. Lee Rocker was on after the Atomics, so this is probably Lee Rocker’s drummer
Aha, Deron DeCesare, the drummer for the Atomics!!! A really dial drummer.
Lisa Pankratz playing for Ronnie Dawson. I hadn’t known that she plays barefoot until Cindy mentioned it. Reigning beauty of the RAB world, Lisa is also a joy to hear.
